Mark Sinclair Kroh, Web Developer

Welcome

As you've probably guessed from the URL, my name is Mark Kroh and this is my portfolio site. As you will see, I have a wide skill set fueled by an insatiable curiosity. Professionally, I love to teach and have been in the classroom on at least a part-time basis since 1999. I also have a passion for web development and have worked on projects for several high-profile clients like Penn State University, Airbus Corporation, and New York Life Insurance Corporation. After you look around my site, please contact me. I'd love to hear from you.

W3C Validated

This site has been W3C validated for both HTML 5 and CSS 3.0. (Yes, I know that the -webkit- and -moz- prefixes don't validate, but it's a necessary evil of using CSS3 at this point.)

Web Developer

There is beauty in well-written code. That's right, I'm so geeky I actually wrote that. But if you look behind the cold, impersonal machine language, a thought pattern is revealed that says something about the mind behind the code.

Teacher

"Quand tu veux construire un bateau, ne commence pas par rassembler du bois, couper des planches et distribuer du travail, mais reveille au sein des hommes le desir de la mer grande et large." (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)

Writer

Honestly, writing is not something that flows painlessly from me as it does for some. But I do have a passion for words and language that makes the challenge of writing perversely pleasurable to me. And once the words flow, it's blissful.

Entrepreneur

The act of creation is not a solitary event. At least not in my experience. To fully achieve my dreams I rely on others who possess complementary skillsets, a kindred obsession with quality and absolute certainty of our success.
